Pillow Love - Recovering to Gorgeous!

I just love my newest pillow!

The pillow itself came from Goodwill for $2.50 on 1/2 price day.  I recovered it with some fabric I already had and a gorgeous white fabric found for $1.50 in the remnant bin.  This remnant is fabulous!

The pillow had good shape but was just not my style.  And yep I have some trim in the above pic that I did not use.  Decided it would be too much.  The white remnant came with that finished edge already on it.  I left that edge longer than the green fabric I used as the backing that way it left a flap on the front.

I just cut pieces roughly the same size as the cover that was already on that pillow.  Sewed er up.  The only tricky part was making sure I did not sew that flap.

It was much easier to just do a tie treatment with a ribbon on both ends. 

Simply gorgeous!  I am in pillow love....

Now how long can I keep the kids off of it so it will stay white?
