Weekend Thrifting Recap -- Boxes and Birdcages

Not the greatest thrifting week...anyone else that can't wait for yard sale season??  But I did get all these round wooden boxes for $1.24...
I already have a plan for em...  And this little birdcage looking thingy for $1.
I ripped the leaves off already....
Now what should I do with it?  Suggestions?  Maybe a nest and eggs inside and leave that candle thing out all together?  As always -- your advice is needed!

I'd leave the candle thing out. I like it when people use things for purposes other than what they were inteded for. A cute nest with eggs in there would be cute. Or you could fill it with some mini balls that you've made. Putting Easter eggs in there would be cute, too.

I stopped at GW for literally a minute yesterday and got two treasures. Will blog about it when I actually have a life again and am home long enough to!

I love the nest idea! What about a old mossey clay pot? I bet one would fit perfect in that holder. I've heard you can coat clay pots with yogurt and sit them ouside in shade and grow moss. Come by for a visit someday I'm new at this and I have really enjoyed meeting new friends!
