I have been working on a few thrift find makeovers lately....
Surely you remember that red candlestick that needed no work at all. But how about those birds? They got a coat of light blue paint and a white wash. Oh so much better. They are even paired with a few of those eggs off the egg wreath. I also made this picture...

Ugh! I got the two smaller ones for 25 cents each and just used the picture on the inside. The larger one was 75 cents -- gorgeous frame, ugly picture. The frame was saved with some white paint. I just covered the cardboard with white fabric then white burlap. Glued on the little pictures and it is oh so much better!
