Sometimes you just have to dig in the dirt to find treasures...
We were walking about on the farm and hubby stepped on part of that gear sticking up out of the ground. We dug it out and I must say I love the shape! I also found the three rusty horseshoes in an old barn. Rusty treasures found while dirt diggin...
Hubby and I also stopped at a yard sale. I picked up 4 old Ball jar lids for $1. They are now on top of four of my blue ball jars and are an addition to my obsession. I have to find a home for my rusty treasures. I am sure I can use them somewhere.

I thought I knew what "dirt cheap" was but now I really know!
I love that gear, great shape! I can't wait to see what you do with them!
Cool, way to go!

I love rusty farm stuff....even if I dont have any in my home..........
Love those lids!
GREAT stuff! I love finding stuff like that. We find random things here all the time. I even dug a piece of McCoy pottery out of the back yard. I cant pass up the blue jars or zinc lids either!
Hoooooeeee my kinda diggin'!
What a cool star piece! I'd scrub it down and place it with a grouping of like minded pieces.
Honestly? I hold stuff like this in my hand and pace my house until I've found the perfect spot. And that can change 101 times in a given hour.
Happy junk decorating!
