On Monday I guest posted on All Thingz Related with some decor balls. Well next week on The CSI Project there is a hardware store challenge!
I just gotta post my galvanized decor ball here...
1) Cause I love it
2) Cause I wanna make sure y'all saw it
3) Cause I want to link up to those CSI gals!

So let's get started! Find ya some pipe strapping -- go to the hardware store and hunt it down -- it will be worth it. Then I used some brads that have letters on them. These were intended for scrapbooking.

You will also need a round ball to use as a form. Any will do and use the size you want your finished project to be. Form the gavanized strip around the ball and cut to size. Repeat until you have 4 strips.
Use a small dowel or skewer to line all of your strips up. I alternated the "cut" portion -- 2 up and 2 down.
Insert in your brads on the top and bottom to hold everything together. Do this by slowly inserting it while you remove the dowel. This was the easiest way I found. I then inserted brads randomly around the ball.
Put it on your porch!

I never would have thought of that, either. Cute!
I really like this! I haven't seen anything like it before - how creative. :) I'm thinking of all kinds of things you could do with this - they make so many amazing brads now, you could dress them up lots of different ways. Thanks for sharing!
