The Nester made me do it....

I saw the nester's post on hydrangeas and I swooned.  Yep right there -- swoon.  So I had to find some to pick.  After some searching, I found a source...
Big beautiful blooms in MY kitchen...swoon.  Free flowers have got to be the best decorating tool of all.  Wouldn't you agree?
Plus (and I blame the nester fully), I had to go buy a plant of my very own...
Is it a sign when the very day you bring home your plant a hail storm comes??  I swear it was pretty...sigh...
Do you have any hydrangeas?  Do yours look like that after a hail storm?  (LOL)

I love hydrangeas! I want some for my yard!!!

Enjoy your beautiful flowers. They really do make a space feel more welcoming. Sigh.... :) Pam @ Sallygoodin

I LOVE hydrangeas. They are may absolute favorite flower...you can even tell my blog header:) I purchased two Forever and Ever varieties last year...they have four blooms on them right now! I'm so excited that they came back healthy. It is my goal to plant several bushes all around my house to have continuous blooms to pick all season! Enjoy them!:)

i have a HUGE hydrangea in my front yard. love. it. and i bought a small one for the back yard and it's already droopy. boo. maybe over-watered? don't know, but i might take it back to h.d. love yours tho, never heard of a peppermint hydrangea...does it smell like peppermint?

ooh - the peppermint ones...I hoped to find one of those this year, but so far have not. I did a post on mine recently: http://www.back40life.com/?p=846

and since then have bought 3 more...I'm definitely addicted! Our Wal-Mart has also had Endless Summer hydrangeas this year at a pretty good price, so you might want to check there...it is so awesome to be able to cut as many as I want to have inside...LOVE it! Hope yours do wonderfully!

I don't have any, but I do love them. And I really love looking at them, too. :)

Stopping over from Frugal Friday.

Angie, I love hydrangeas too, and had to go out and buy one this year. Mine is a purply pink-tres pretty-but with only two blooms, I'm not picking any this year. Can't wait till it gets big. Lucky you to find pickable free flowers! Have a great weekend!
