Oh my goodness...lookie at this thrify find!!
Yes it is a vintage song book!! (Did you hear my squeal of delight??) Look at the pages...they are all brown with age...
I took one of the songs and put it in a pair of thrift store frames. The frames were gold so I crackled some off white over them.
One easy project that really makes me smile!
Did you have any thrifty finds this week?
~Thanks for stopping by!~

I love what you did with the music sheets. Thanks for sharing.
I always love to see what others find over the weekend. Love your songbook. I'll be posting later -- not a "thrifty" find, but a good deal all the same!
I love the sheet music framed. I can't wait to see what you do with more of the pages. I'm guessing some fun and pretty Christmas decorations. Have a great week!
Our journey has begun!... secretly though =)
If I’ve left you this message, you’re a follower of my original blog ~OR~ just someone I’ve happened upon while sending out these invites and decided I would LOVE for to come along for the ride! Though I won’t be revealing who I am just yet – until we’re TO and THROUGH the first trimester! Just getting the word out about our new site – further explanation of all the secrecy and what we’re about on my first post now up. I’d love for you to stop by.
Exciting things going on around here!

What a lovely treatment of an old songbook. Lovely..:)
I have a late 1800's Sacred Harp songbook, so I know that squeeling feeling!!!
I tried to see what song you framed, but I couldn't tell even when I enlarged it. Just curious! I love how it looks.

That book was an awesome find. I also like the H in your most recent post with sheet music post on it. Very cute!
Love them in the frames! I found some great hymnal book upstate a few weeks ago but I have yet to use them.
