Rusty wire baskets seem to have popped up everywhere! And yes I love em. Could you have guessed that? So as I was doing a little organization, I found an old canning basket that was all rusty. And it was hidden...in my cabinet!! For shame! Well look at her now....
Gorgeous vintage rust patina...you can't make patina like that!
Now it's home is in my glass front cabinets full of some jars....so much better than hidden away don't you think??
So do you ever find things you have hidden away and wonder what you were thinking??

I have one of those old canning racks in my basement somewhere. Hmm I wonder where.
My basement is huge it may never show up lol.
Don't you love when you find a hidden treasure right there in your own cupboards. Well done for putting it out on display, where it should be.
How funny - I just brought down a number of items from our upstairs room where they were hidden away. A little bird, a painted owl, a vase, and a ball jar just got added to our living room decor. Now I get to enjoy them every day. Yay for shopping your house, right? :)
I have an area in my basement that I call the decorating graveyard. Every once in a while I walk by it and find something that I completely forgot I had that would look really nice in a particular spot in the house. It's kind of a nice surprise:)
