Thrifty Finds -- Vintage Milk Caps

I have been wanting some caps for my vintage milk bottle for-ev-er.  I never could find any that were not on a bottle -- an expensive bottle at that.  So imagine my surprise when I was chatting with a family friend about antiques and vintage items...and he GAVE me an entire HANDFUL of vintage milk caps!!
Completely unused and in PERFECT condition!!  Can y'all hear me jumping up and down from there?
I have a rather large milk bottle collection and it was not quite enough for all of them but I am proud as a peacock of the ones I did get!!
I am absolutely obsessed with the Tennessee milk bottles...
There is just something totally awesome about milk bottles and their shape....and now mine look even more complete with the little cardboard cap...
Did you have any amazing finds this week?  Or amazing GIFTS in this case??

I actually found a McCoy mug & some vintage glitter this week!

I have a handful of milk caps (no bottles just caps) and I can't figure out what to do with them!

I love those milk caps! I actually had some that fit over the bottle. Not sure where they are since we moved, though.

Angle I love these especially the Nashville one!

yeeehaw! :)

Didn't know there was such a thing but thanks for posting now you've given me something else to scour antique stores for! :) How nice of him to give you those.
Me personally, I've been looking for baby shower gifts....I'm getting a new nephew soon. Babies are so fun to buy for!

LOVE vintage milk caps too! I bought some from a shop on Etsy on sticks. Heres the link:

I am in love with them. I have them stuck down in a very small milk bottle that I have.

Isn't it funny how things happen like that! Love those milk bottle cap and the bottles!!! Where have you found the ones that say Nashville TN on them? I live in Nashville and would love to find some of those!!

Have you thought of scanning, printing, cutting them out or circle punching them and adhering them to a similar weight backing for extra ones?

very nice! are you going to use them for an art project or just to display?
