A company having a 50 year birthday is a big deal. PennySaver USA started their publication in 1962 and is celebrating their 50th birthday this year. They are holding a Predict-A-Cover contest in celebration. First things first -- I love all things vintage. Y'all already know that. So the Pinterest board that they have put together of covers from the past automatically put a smile on my face. Here is a quick example for you...and don't you wish paint was still sold at this price...
An original copy of some of these covers would make my day! Just imagine 50 years from now, there will be a Pinterest board of today's covers. They will be oh so vintage! The challenge from PennySaver is to design the cover of the future. Design the cover that will represent what PennySaver will look like 50 years from today. Get your Back to the Future hats on (don't y'all love that movie??). The prize is up to $250! Now that is worth designing a cover for! Just submit a photo of your design for a chance to win one of two prizes.
- $150 will be awarded to the “People’s Choice” winner that is decided by a vote on Pinterest.The voting period will last from May 1-May 6. Make sure to follow PennySaver on Pinterest and come back starting May 1 to vote. The way you vote is by repinning your favorite cover.
- $100 will be awarded to the “PennySaverUSA Pick” that is decided by a panel of PennySaverUSA staff judges. If your cover is the best, you could win both prizes for a total of $250!
