A few years back we had a garage fire. My hubby lost his completely restored 55 Chevy in the fire. A total and complete loss. Welllll...except for a few mementos he thought to keep and clean up. A gas cap and VIN plate....
These now have a prominent place in our home. I would encourage you to display the things that have meaning for you. The car was his first major purchase as a young teen and the restoration was all by his blood sweat and tears. All that we are left with now are pictures and these mementos....
So there is no way I can stuff these in a drawer. I would rather be able to look at them each and every day. What is hiding in your closet that you miss? Find a place for your mementos today.

My husband displays all over the house! There is no shortage of displaying in this house. LOL
I think it is neat that you display the VIN plate and the gas cap of your hubby's loved 55 Chevy.
