Preparing for a Bash on the 4th with @Sears @cbias #SearsPatio #cbias

Today I have some 4th of July tablescape ideas for you!  I will give you all those details in a second.  First of all, I must squeal for just a second.  I got a new patio set.  For those of you that have been around here a while, we are building a new deck.  Welllll with summer, the weather, and our Disney trip the deck has not had much progress.  But I did start researching some outdoor furniture and we ended up with this beauty this weekend....

First of all, I must tell y'all I do NOT take major purchases lightly.  I like to research and analyze these types of purchases to death.  Thank goodness Sears made that easy for me.  I started with the online catalog for some inspiration.

Sears also has a great Style Hub with advice and inspiration for any outdoor space.  The patio finder service makes narrowing your selections super easy.  Just check the boxes by the features you are looking for in a patio set and viola your matches pop up on the screen.

So now that I know the types of patio sets I want, my next question is -- how can I get it for less.  Sears also has their local ad online so you can browse.  You can also sort it by department and then by all patio furniture.

After my research, I felt knowledgeable enough to head to the store.  Like I said before, I like to REALLY do my research.  The sales associate was nice enough to answer TONS of questions from me....even in my mom bun.  Yep my helpers all came along with me on my journey as well.  Want to see even more pictures of our adventures?  Head to my google plus album for tons of pictures of my mom bun...

We ended up with the Brookshire 7 pc Dining Set from Country Living.  The quality construction, sale price, and lovely details are what sold me.  I mean look at that tile table and gorgeous chairs!  I am in love...

So now I owe y'all some details on my 4th of July table right?   Let's take a closer look!

I grabbed lots of red, white, and blue and went to work.  For the centerpiece, I used vintage soda bottles with flags.  Then those lanterns are from the Dollar Tree.  I think they look great just scattered on the table.

I am a casual entertainer so it is generally a grab our own plate setup.  I stacked up some red plates and popped some silverware into a mason jar.  You can't have a drink on the 4th without red, white, and blue straws!

The mason jar actually has a star on it.  I thought that fit in great!  I could only find one of these in my collection.  Mental note to hunt for more of these for next year's 4th of July bash.

I bought this basket from the Dollar Tree also.  I think it is perfect for a stack of napkins.

I added some strawberries, blueberries, and store bought cupcakes.  It is just too darn hot this year to fire up the oven.  Plus it frees you up to worry about other things, like your decor and patio set!
