Next week I celebrate my 18th wedding anniversary y'all! We have been together over 20 years and started dating in high school. Don't believe me? How about a prom picture from 1992! This was actually our first date which is a long story itself! Check out that green dress would ya. Feel free to leave comments about this ridiculous picture...it makes me laugh too...
I am a simple girl. Generally we don't even celebrate out anniversary. We just never have. But we decided to have a date night this year. Just the two of us, a redbox movie, and some good food. I heart redbox, it is movie rental made easy! Just select your movie, swipe your card, and you are DONE!
We rented "Wanderlust" with Jennifer Anniston. Heck if you are going to do a date night get an R rated movie right?? Let's just say this is definitely not one I want to see again and never, ever rent it if there will be children in the room. My full review will be on Couch Critics if y'all want details. The movie is on the left on this picture...darn thing kept scrolling...HA!
So what about the good food part? Something we had not done in YEARS was to have a fish fry. So we picked up some catfish at Walmart and fried some fish! Bonus: the only time hubby cooks is when he can operate the outdoor propane cooker. So yes, I didn't even have to cook! You can check out my entire shopping trip over in my google plus album.
We ate our fish outside, talked, then watched our movie. A lovely and simple date that is just what this girl likes!

WOW!! Over 20 years!? That is AWESOME!! You look adorable. You know the time of the prom, you were probably rockin' that green dress!! I have a green dress in my past too. :) Congrats!! I'm working towards 6 years with 8 years total!! I hope to write a post like this some day! :)
