If you have been following my blog this summer, you know that we have demolished out large back deck and are working on rebuilding. This project is like a zombie in that it never dies. But we are chipping away at it and I hope to have those after pictures soon. What does a girl do in the meantime? Shop Sears for some outdoor furniture and find a place to set it up! We have been enjoying our new patio furniture in a variety of ways this summer. I thought I would share a few of our favorite activities with you today. Our absolute favorite activity outdoors is to eat. It is lovely to sit at the table at dusk enjoying our supper and each others company. Hubby and I also love to sit out and watch the kids play. Our kids are always playing a sport and it is great to watch them playing together. Every parent knows those moments without a fight are rare sometimes. We can also sit out here and observe life on the farm. Last night there was actually a wild turkey with 5 babies going across our backyard. Wildlife at it's finest! We have also enjoyed this area as a break from the labor that is building our new patio. I can't wait to get all of our furniture placed on our new patio and get some after pics for y'all.
