Okay a few weeks back I found a gorgeous flat basket and had no clue what it was. My ever-so-smart readers let me know that it was the top to a fruit basket. Soooo ever since guess what I have been hunting? That is right...a fruit basket...
Half off day at the thrift store yielded this gorgeous find for 50 cents. I only paid a quarter for the top. So for a whooping 75 cents I now have....
Vintage a gorgeous and a perfect fit! I got so lucky y'all. Now it is perfect for storage in the kitchen.
For now, I have my cheese boxes stacked on top of it. It is sturdy enough to be an impromptu table. I love...

We use baskets like that to collect apples from our trees each autumn, Angie! lol! Yours looks fabulous with the lid on it!! I've never seen a lid like that for fruit baskets. :) Great find!
