Are y'all Avengers fans? My family sure is! The new movie The Avengers by Marvel comes out TOMORROW! We had a fun family night this weekend to help celebrate the release of the new movie. I will start with dessert for y'all cause that is always the best part right? My Avengers brownie sundaes are super simple to put together and will impress all of the Avengers fans in your family.
This family fun night is all about how you can throw a bash for your family in minimal time. We are all busy but we still need to get together as a family and grow some memories. These brownie sundaes are a great example. I made some chocolate caramel brownies and let those cool. I then layered in pieces of the brownies with cool whip in these fancy mason jars. I took a few printed pictures of the Avengers super heroes and cut those out. Just tie them onto your mason jars for a fun themed dessert.
As always, I snapped a few pictures of our family fun for y'all. Everyone loved those super simple brownie sundaes so much! We enjoyed them while watching the Hulk movie on DVD. We actually own the ENTIRE Avengers series on DVD except for the Hulk. Well not anymore! I purchase the Hulk on DVD last week to enjoy during our family fun night.
Aaaand this is our "I don't want my picture taken face". This is the best picture I got of him all night long. Great huh? :) I am sure some of y'all can relate! I even bought him an Avengers themed shirt with visions of great smiling pictures. I got nada.
What else did we eat besides dessert on our family fun night? Pizza of course! Walmart has a great MarketSide pizza in the deli. Right now the pizza boxes are even Avengers themed so you can enjoy your pizza and the Avengers. The selection both of toppings and sizes is amazing.

We also got the chance to preview the Avengers Graphic Novel that will be available at Walmart in the The Avengers Blu-Ray/DVD/Graphic Novel Combo Pack for $24.95. I say "we" got a chance to preview it. However, I have not seen much of the novel. A little 7 year old boy has had his nose in it. I think we can safely say this one is a win.
We decided on a movie for our family fun night but there is so much more Avengers merchandise to choose from at your local Walmart. My google plus album has tons of pictures for you including these great Lego sets.

Fun time! We just started doing family movie night...I can't really get T interested in what the girls want to watch, so really it's just me and the girls. At any rate, it's fun to do. The brownie sundaes are so cute! :)
