Ben Dismembered -- A Skeleton in a Coffin

I will let y'all know right now -- my son loves Halloween.  So when I had this idea for a little skeleton in a coffin, I knew it would not be decor.  This one would have to be tough enough to be played with.  I am over at Craft Test Dummies testing a new glue and just had to use it on this little project.  Meet Ben Dismembered.

I started with a coffin from Consumer Crafts and a skeleton from the Dollar Tree.  He fit perfectly inside and that is where my idea started.

I painted the coffin black inside and out.  Then I filled the bottom with stuffing (like you would stuff in a pillow).

I then adhered a piece of fabric all the way around the coffin approximately in the middle.

Then I just added in the skeleton (I did not glue him down so that he can come out and play).  All that was left was to name him.  We googled funny tombstones in google images and came up with our saying.  Hey -- it is funny to a seven year old boy.  I wrote on the front using a white paint pen.

I hope you all enjoy this little kid's craft.  I know there is a little boy who has enjoyed it so far!
