I have five party recipes from the dollar store for you today. You can pick up the ingredients for these great party recipes at your local Dollar Tree. Hosting a party on a budget? Need a one stop shop? This post is for you. My inspiration came from the Dollar Tree Value Seekers Club and their bite sized foods for holiday parties post. Be sure to sign up for the club y'all cause members will have a chance to win a $100 Dollar Tree gift card at the bottom of this post. You can throw one HECK of a party with $100 to spend at Dollar Tree! Don't worry membership to the club is free plus you get tons of great content each month.
Start at the Dollar Tree Value Seekers Club and the project sheet for bite sized foods. Project sheets can be saved or printed so it will be easy for you to reference it when reading the post below. There are complete instructions on the sheet for creating mini pizzas with items from Dollar Tree. The sheet encourages you to pick and choose your own toppings. So I headed to shop and get inspired.
My spicy chicken alfredo mini pizzas use jarred alfredo sauce, canned chicken, banana pepper rings, and pizza crusts from Dollar Tree. Add mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, and diced fresh herbs for garnish from your refrigerator at home. Cut the pizza crusts according to the value seekers page instructions then top, bake, and enjoy.
I was also inspired by the small containers that are used on the bite sized foods sheet. The soup and mini grilled cheese inspired me to look at small containers at my local Dollar Tree. I found some great little containers and ended up coming up with my spinach artichoke dip 'n' sticks.
I started with spinach artichoke dip mix, pretzel sticks, and mini plastic shot cups all from Dollar Tree. I added sour cream from the fridge to the dip mix. Who knew such a fun and great appetizer could be found in the aisles of my Dollar Tree store!
The bite sized foods sheet also has some brilliant ideas for putting food on skewers for mini portions. I cruised the aisles of Dollar Tree and came up with the simplest of them all.
For my mini fruit skewers, just pick up a can of tropical fruit salad and some of those fancy tooth picks. Skewer the fruit and place on a platter for your guests. So easy yet so darn good!
No party would be complete without dessert. The bite sized foods sheet from the Dollar Tree Value Seekers Club has a great idea for cookie and milk shooters. I put my own fun spin on the idea however.
Just add marshmallow cream to some mini dishes from Dollar Tree. Pop in a skewered cookie for a fun and delicious treat. Y'all I am going to keep marshmallow cream and these cookies on hand at my house at all times. This is the ultimate for those chocolate cravings. Don't like the cookie dipper idea? There is also a fabulous mini pie idea on the bite sized foods sheet that you don't want to miss.
For my final party treat, I came up with a fun mocktail from Dollar Tree ingredients. No party is complete without drinks right?
My fizzy pink mocktail is made by mixing equal parts of peach flavored juice with sparkling cider. You can find all ingredients at Dollar Tree including that fun glass.
Now each of your guests can have a plate that looks like the below when mingling at your holiday party. Those clear plates shown below are even from Dollar Tree. Literally y'all...you can throw a party just with a quick stop at your local Dollar Tree store.
Just look at this spread of amazing and awesome food. Your guests will be impressed and your wallet will thank you after the party is over. Grab your ingredients and party ware from your Dollar Tree. And happy partying y'all!
