I wanted to give y’all a Christmas home tour this year just so I could share all of our Christmas decorations. I have had a fun time this year with multiple trees and embracing a rustic style. I am sure y’all will love it! You have seen our Christmas tree already but you can see it again below.
I hope y’all have an amazing day today! I thought I would share a few snapshots from our holiday decor this year today. Grab a few minutes and check out these Christmas decorating ideas from our home to yours! And y’all have a very Merry Christmas today!
I have lots of dear on the mantel including my glitter dipped deer silhouettes.
A galvanized bucket piled high with ornaments also adorns the mantel.
Next stop on the tour is our tree. If you have not been around here long let me tell you about our tree tradition. Every year we load up in the truck and go hunt a cedar tree on our farm. We cut it down, load it up, and that is our Christmas tree. It is a fun tradition that we all cherish.
This year we added blue and silver ornaments to our rustic cedar tree. Under the tree is a train, vintage car, and of course presents. The tree skirt (which actually is not even visible anymore) is a collection of vintage grain sacks.
I also have a few surfaces in my home where I create Christmas vignettes. I love to add in my son’s toys to the decor. On the left is a little advent calendar I made for the kids last minute.
I hope y’all enjoyed our rustic farmhouse Christmas tour. If you want to continue to get inspired all week, be sure to join us for our Everything Christmas Tour over at Denise Designed. I will also wrap the entire week’s events up for y’all sometime this weekend.
If you have been around here a while, you may notice that back wall used to be french doors with HUGE curtains. We had windows installed there instead and I just installed those bamboo blinds. To the left in the family room you will find my mantle all decked out for summer. Then that walkway you see in the background leads to our kitchen.
If you turn around completely from the vantage point of the picture above you get this view of our master bedroom. The door to the left in the picture below will lead you back to the foyer which is where we started this journey.
I will give you a few shots of this room cause it is probably my favorite of all the rooms in our home.
You can check out our bedroom project gallery for project information in this room. The door in the picture below will lead you into our master bathroom. See a complete circle!
Now lets go back out into the foyer and walk up those stairs. Again the upstairs is laid out like a circle. You top the stairs into what is termed on our floor plan as a “game room”. We have turned this into a fourth bedroom that our son currently resides in.
Turn right from his room and you are in the bedroom of our middle daughter. For all of the kids rooms, you can find project details on our teen and kid room gallery page.
Turn left from her room and you are in the kids bathroom. I redid this a few years back in a “for the love of books” theme and we still love it.
Turn left from the bathroom and you are in my college aged daughter’s room. Yes I am in fact old enough to have one in college. Last year she actually lived in the dorm but she is officially moving out this fall. I expect lots of changes to all of these upstairs rooms when that happens so stay tuned.
Turn left from her room and you are back in our son’s room. Yep another circle! So lets head back downstairs for a glass of sweet green tea. Cause you can’t come visit my home without sharing a glass with me!

I will let the rest of the pictures speak for themselves. Y’all enjoy!
This happens to be one of my favorite arrangements so I am going to put this picture up top. It is just some cedar clippings in a glass pitcher with some of my paper feathers and a burlap mason jar ornament.
And yes supper is on the stove waiting for ya! I looove my glass front cabinets. They have a mixture of formal china, blue ball jars, and rustic treasures!
I play with the arrangement quite often. When I see a blue ball jar, I often have to bring it home…so I often HAVE to rearrange. 🙂
Next up we have the master bedroom…
This room has seen many changes in the past year of blogging. One of my fave additions is that rustic stove used as a plant stand…
Another fave is the window used to display old pictures…
And this is the sink area with even more hand painting on the wall…
I have plenty of more ideas up my sleeve! I hope to do this home tour every year so we can see what has changed through the years!
