Printable Lemonade Stand Kit for Kids

We have Jen Goode from 100 Directions with us again this month.  This time she has a printable lemonade stand kit that y’all will love.  Seriously love.  Grab the kids and sell some lemonade this summer!

Finally summer is here! The Ice cream truck has started coming by, flowers are blooming and there’s no more worry of a late Colorado frost. So you know the kids are going to be looking for things to do. Lemonade stand to the rescue! Today I’m sharing a cute Lemonade Stand printable kit the kids can use to decorate their new sales venue. The kit comes complete with a sign, straw flags and a pennant garland. Print out as many as you’d like and start shouting about the best stand on the block!

Materials you need:

Decorate your own Lemonade Stand:

  1. Download and print the Lemonade Stand kit by Jen Goode. I printed two sheets of the pennants and flags so I’d have 8 pennants to decorate our little table.
  2. Cut out the pennants. Punch holes in the top corners. String together with ribbon to create garland and hang, adhering in place with tape.
  3. Cut out the flags, apply glue to half of the back side. Wrap around a straw, press and hold to adhere. Make sure you get a little glue on the straw so the flag stays in place on the straw and not just wrapped around it.

I only printed one sign for our stand and then attached it with the garland, but you can print out as many signs as you’d like. Advertise around the neighborhood or make picket style carrying signs for extra fun. There’s space on the sign to write in your own price too!

You can add all kinds of extra decorations to spruce up your stand. I added a little blue tablecloth to our table – it was either that or paint the thing, it was awful! Get creative and have fun – I’d love to hear what you come up with. I hope you have piles of quarters at the end of the day!

Thank you so much Jen for sharing your lemonade stand for kids today!  Y’all head on over to 100 Directions for tons more fun projects, printables, and crafts!

Backyard Teepee from #dollargeneral

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Dollar General for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I always like to throw in a few projects in the summer that my kids will enjoy.  This backyard teepee idea was one of those.  My son loved helping with this project.  He is nine and loves to build things so this one was perfect.  You can assemble this entire teepee in less than 30 minutes with no tools and all with items from Dollar General.  You think that is impossible?  Let me show you that it is in fact possible!

Make Your Own Mini Summer Pinwheels

Jen Goode from 100 Directions is back today with a fun mini summer pinwheels printable.  I love pinwheels!  They are great for everything from having fun with the kids to decorating your home for summer.  Be sure to print the printable below because, as always, Jen did an amazing job!

One thing I love best about Summer is all the fun opportunities to enjoy the day. We can celebrate all kinds of things. Throw some burgers on the BBQ, invite the neighbors over and you have an instant party, just because. Along with all this summer fun is the brilliant colors we can play with in our projects. So today I’m sharing a simple pinwheel project printable in fun Summer colors. You can use these pinwheels as a fun activity with the kids, decorations on cupcakes or even as a hand made garland to decorate a mid-summer party.

I’ve created this summer themed printable to be reversible, with 4 pinwheels per sheet. This way you’ll get twice the fun out of every print you make!

Summer Fun Pinwheels in a cute mini muffin by Jen Goode

Summer Fun Pinwheels in a cute mini muffin by Jen Goode

I did not make this fancy little muffin.. but I did steal it from my kids and eat it when I was finished… they already had 4 of their own. It’s a business expense!

To make these cute mini pinwheels, you don’t need much. You can make a whole set of them in less than 30 minutes!

Materials you need:

  • Free Summer Fun pinwheel printable by Jen Goode
  • Paper and printer
  • Scissors
  • Glue – I use hot glue and glue gun
  • Toothpicks – only needed if you want to make cupcake picks

How to make your own mini summer fun pinwheels:

  1. Print out the printable, each image (front and background) on each side of the paper so you end up with a double sided printout.
  2. Cut out squares and then cut along color lines, leaving 1/4″ in center of square uncut.
  3. Fold corner of each color toward center and glue in place. I use hot glue, so I use a small stick/skewer to hold paper in place until it adheres. Do not crease your folds.
  4. Cut out and glue paper buttons in center of each pinwheel. Optionally use your own real buttons or other embellishments.

If you’d like to use these pinwheels as cupcake toppers, glue a toothpick on the back, using excess paper to cover the toothpick end.

You can also string the pinwheels to make a garland or embellish a banner. Decorate party favors, table settings and all your summer party goodies!
