Steps for freezing herbs:
- Rinse fresh herbs (to remove any dirt or critters)
- Remove herbs from stems
- Chop (a course chop works in this case)
- Add to ice cube tray (you can measure about a tablespoon of each herb if desired)
- Fill with water (you can also use oil or even stock)
- Press down (until your herbs are under the water)
- Freeze (about 24 hours should do the trick)
- Pop out and store in marked freezer bags
