We are kicking off Craft Lighting wedding week today! What does that mean? Well I will be posting a wedding craft each day that takes 15 minutes or less to complete. In addition each day, at the bottom of the post, there will be 15 minute crafts from our blog partners. If you are planning a DIY wedding, this is the week for you! To kick things off, I have partnered with HomeRight to create a fabulous bent spoon tea light holder for those wedding centerpieces. With your tea light in a holder, you can add items to match your wedding decor to the bottom of your mason jar. Follow along below with the super simple tutorial!
For this craft you will need a serving sized plastic spoon. I found mine in a salad set at the Dollar Tree for $1. You will also need a HomeRight heat gun. The heat gun is great for stripping paint and more…plus you can get creative and use it for craft projects like this one. You can watch the video below to see me make one of these bent spoon tea light holders LIVE! NOTE: Please remember to follow all directions and precautions on the documentation that comes with your heat gun!
Such a quick and easy project y’all! I love adding mine to these green Ball jars with sand and shells. However you can pick the color of your wide mouth mason jar plus add in anything that matches your wedding decor to the bottom of the jar.
Not planning a wedding? No problem! Just make up a few of these to add to the centerpiece of your next barbecue or party. I may even use a few of these bent spoon tea light holders around my home! Grab your supplies and get started on your own soon.
