We headed to Cracker Barrel last weekend and had a great time. I gave y’all a little sneak peak into my love for Cracker Barrel in this post. Of course that love grows a little deeper each time we set foot on that porch with the rockers. We headed there on a night out with the family to eat, shop, play games, and just have a great time.
I love to look around the store and restaurant and see all of the vintage decor. It inspires me to use more of my antique finds in my own home. Be sure to look UP when you walk about the store portion of your local Cracker Barrel as well. You never know what is hanging above your head. I noticed this vintage tobacco basket in the restaurant on our latest trip. I love these things!
While we waited for our food, we just had to have a little competition with the peg game on the table. I can usually beat everyone but it was not meant to be on this trip.
It only took a few minutes and our freshly made food was out on the table. My particular favorite is the chicken and dumplings. Other family favorites include the fried chicken tenders, shrimp, macaroni and cheese, and the country ham. As a matter of fact, I have never had a bad meal at any Cracker Barrel! It is also the perfect place to stop when you are in the mood for breakfast for supper.
We actually did not have to wait for a table on this particular trip. My favorite part of waiting for a table is getting to shop in Cracker Barrel’s Retail Store. This time we just had to shop after we ate. It is a good way to walk off your meal however.
Two of these camouflage hats ended up coming home with the guys this trip. I love that there are products for everyone in the retail portion of Cracker Barrel. You can find everything from supplies for your kitchen…
….to cute decor for your home. It is the perfect place to shop for gifts as you will find items for people of all ages!
A few of my favorite finds from this trip include these small banks with fun quotes on the sides.
As well as this fun sign that would go perfect at a lake or beach house.
We end every trip to Cracker Barrel with a walk through the old fashioned candy section. There is nothing better to end your meal with than a peppermint stick y’all.
If you have never been to Cracker Barrel, be sure to find one near you and give it a try today. If you have just not been in a while, what are you waiting for? Great food, awesome shopping, and all in one convenient stop!
