There have been some changes around our family room over the past six months or so and I never got around to sharing them here. I thought I would share our family room decor ideas. Really just an organization system and a new gallery wall. But I thought y’all might enjoy seeing where some of these blog projects end up.
I shared here how to use wood crates to make outdoor tables. Then I took some of those wood crates and make a little bookshelf for our family room. It is perfect for housing the MANY manuals that come with life on the farm. It is so much better than the method we used to have for that paper clutter. For now, I am happy to have it all in a shelf and organized. The bonus is that a shelf made with wood crates is SUPER affordable!
Now for a peek at that gallery wall. It spans a corner above our television and so many things that I made for the blog ended up on this wall. Those clothes pin and burlap picture hangers are just painted burlap on a wood square. You can click here to see more about those chevron canvases. The faux quilt art is looking amazing on that Coke crate. Click here to see how to make your own version. Plus I made those knock off framed keys as well. Oh and who could forget that 5 minute woven mirror?
We are enjoying the subtle changes to our family room. That rustic farmhouse feel suits us just fine! Stay tuned as always for tons more family room decor ideas and so much more!
