Supplies needed to make your own Christmas bell ornaments:
- Terra cotta pots
- Paint
- Jute twine or baker’s twine
- Jingle bells
- Paint brush
How to Make This Christmas Bell Craft:
Paint your clay pots the color of your choice with craft paint. This may take several coats. Be sure to allow to dry between each coat.
You will also want to paint the inside as well as the outside. Multiple coats may be required here as well.
I used baker’s twine on my terra cotta bells but you can use jute twine or any twine you have on hand. Be sure the twine you choose will fit through the hole in the bottom of the planter pot.
Add your jingle bell to the twine and tie a knot where the bell will hang just below the lip of the clay pot.
String through the hole in the planter pot and tie at the top to hang on your tree.
