What You Will Need

  • Nails
  • Outdoor paint
  • Outdoor vinyl
  • Cut file
  • Transfer tape
  • Weeding tools
  • Hook
  • Wreaths or other interchangeable seasonal decorations

Instructions

  • How to Make a Scrap Wood Home Sign with Wreath:
  • Start by making the sign itself. I am using scrap wood so I used two long boards along with two shorter for the cross pieces. These can be any size you wish and any type of wood.
  • Nail sign together.
  • Then paint the entire thing with a few coats of a good quality outdoor paint. Be sure to allow to dry in between coats. You will also want everything to be dry before adding the vinyl
  • Use this cut file and resize to fit your sign. You will also want to change the name and year established
  • Then cut the pieces from outdoor vinyl.
  • Weed away all excess.
  • Then use transfer tape to add the pieces to your sign.
  • Screw the hook into the place where the "O" would be located.
  • Hang on the wreath or any other seasonal decor of your choice and your home sign with wreath is complete!
