Cole Slaw with Nuts Recipe

What You Will Need

  • 2 tbsp chopped chives
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup grated carrots
  • 6 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/3 cup sunflower seeds unsalted if available
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Mix first 6 ingredients in a large bowl. Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl with a whisk. Add dressing to cabbage mixture and stir to combine. Allow to sit for at least 1 hour before serving for best taste. Enjoy!
