DIY Gift Bag with Cupcake Tag
Make a cupcake gift tag with your Cricut and add to a cute bag for a present.
What You Will Need
- Gift bag
- Crepe paper streams
- Curling ribbon
- Cricut Machine
- Construction paper
- Cupcake gift tag by Jen Goode
- Double-sided tape or glue
Instructions
- Download the free cupcake SVG file here. Then upload it to Cricut Design Space, set the size, and follow the onscreen instructions to cut.
- To make a crepe paper bow, choose two colors, fold (without creasing) 5 times, accordion-style. Staple it in the back. Cut angled tails.
- Loop curling ribbon through the center top hold of the cupcake tag, string through the handle of a gift bag and then thread the ribbon back through the tag. Trim and curl the ribbon with the edge of your scissors. This will hold the tag in place without requiring a knot.
- Tape the bow to the bag, overlapping the ribbon with the tag. Tip: To help the bow sit properly, add a little double sided tape between each loop.
