Make this wood blocks puzzle as a handmade gift idea for any toddler or pre-school-aged child on your gift-giving list. This is a really simple project that will help to keep you on a budget this holiday season as well. Grab your supplies and make your own version today.
Start with your set of blocks together and draw on your shape. I used a circle template for the circles. I used just a pencil and rules for the square and triangle.
Paint inside or outside of your shape with craft paint. It may require a few coats with the paint. I left the unpainted surface natural but you could definitely use a contrasting paint in this area if you wish.
Allow the paint to dry completely. Then turn all of the blocks over and repeat the steps on the next side.
Continue for all six sides. The longest part of this project is waiting for paint to dry.
To make this gift last as long as possible, you can also follow up with a couple of coats of spray sealer after the paint has dried.
