What You Will Need

  • 6×14 Unfinished Pallet Sign
  • Unfinished Wood Truck
  • Unfinished Wood Camper cutout
  • Chalk Paint
  • Paintbrushes
  • Beacon Power Tac Adhesive
  • Vinyl in any color
  • Transfer tape
  • Cricut machine
  • Adventure Awaits file

Instructions

  • Start by painting all of your individual pieces, then set them aside and allow them to dry. You may need two coats on some of the wood pieces.
  • While your pieces dry, cut the travel SVG from vinyl. The vinyl will be your stencil, so the color doesn't matter.
Weed away all of the excess pieces.
  • Then use transfer tape to put it in place on the sign so it stays in place while you paint.
  • Press the vinyl down well and remove the transfer tape.
  • Now paint over the entire sign (words first) with a very light coat of white paint to give the sign a rustic feel.
  • Peel back the vinyl from the lettering to reveal your design.
  • Once all of your paint has dried, glue on the camper and truck. Allow the glue to dry completely before hanging your sign.
