Start by painting all of your individual pieces, then set them aside and allow them to dry. You may need two coats on some of the wood pieces.
While your pieces dry, cut the travel SVG from vinyl. The vinyl will be your stencil, so the color doesn't matter.Weed away all of the excess pieces. Then use transfer tape to put it in place on the sign so it stays in place while you paint.
Press the vinyl down well and remove the transfer tape.
Now paint over the entire sign (words first) with a very light coat of white paint to give the sign a rustic feel.
Peel back the vinyl from the lettering to reveal your design.
Once all of your paint has dried, glue on the camper and truck. Allow the glue to dry completely before hanging your sign.
