Remove all of the contents from the frames. Discard the glass and picture.
Next, put some wood stain on a paper towel.
Apply the wood stain to your frame, wait about 30 seconds, and wipe it off.
Mix equal parts black craft paint and water. Use a paper towel to paint this mixture on your entire frame and wait about 30 seconds.
Use another paper towel to wipe it off. You can repeat this process as many times as you want until you get the look you want.
Allow the frames to dry completely.
Cut some canvas material to fit the inside of your frame.
Use spray adhesive to apply the canvas to the frame backs.
Assemble the frame and use E6000 to attach your keys to the center. Wait at least 24 hours for the E6000 to dry completely.
