Peanut Butter Blossoms

What You Will Need

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Additional granulated sugar to roll the cookies in - approximately 1/4 cup
  • 84 Hershey's Kisses

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 375°.
  • In large bowl of an electric mixer beat 1/2 cup granulated sugar, the brown sugar, peanut butter, butter, eggs and vanilla on low speed.
  • Once everything is thoroughly mixed, add your dry ingredients (flour, baking soda and baking powder).
  • Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in granulated sugar.
  • Place on ungreased cookie sheet about two inches apart.
  • Bake for approximately 8 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and gently push one Hershey Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  • Return to the oven for 1 additional minute.
  • Remove and cool on wire rack.
