Chocolate Pecan Pie Recipe

What You Will Need

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 eggs slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup melted margarine or butter
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 6 oz. package of chocolate chips I love the milk chocolate version but any will work!
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 unbaked pie crust I personally love the refrigerated ones the best!

Instructions

  • Start by preheating your oven to 325 degrees F.  Add your unbaked pie crust to a pie pan.
  • To begin, combine the sugar and flower in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the melted margarine or butter to the mix and blend well.
  • Then stir in the slightly beaten eggs and the vanilla.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and also the pecans.
  • Pour the entire mixture into your unbaked pie crust.
  • Then bake for 50 minutes or until LIGHTLY golden.
  • Remove from oven, allow to cool, then serve and enjoy!
