Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. This recipe actually mixes right in your baking pan.
Use a 9x13 baking pan and start by adding the dry ingredients right to the ungreased cake pan. Mix the flour, sugar, salt, soda, and cocoa together well.
Make three wells in the ingredients.
To one well add the oil, to the next add the vinegar, and finally put the vanilla in the third. Pour water over the entire mixture and then stir well with a fork.
Bake for 35 - 45 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean when inserted in the center. Cool and then add your favorite icing recipe to the top.
Cut into slices and serve up this eggless chocolate cake to your family.
