Eggless Chocolate Cake Recipe

What You Will Need

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 8 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  This recipe actually mixes right in your baking pan.
  • Use a 9x13 baking pan and start by adding the dry ingredients right to the ungreased cake pan.  Mix the flour, sugar, salt, soda, and cocoa together well.
  • Make three wells in the ingredients.
  • To one well add the oil, to the next add the vinegar, and finally put the vanilla in the third.  Pour water over the entire mixture and then stir well with a fork.
  • Bake for 35 - 45 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean when inserted in the center.  Cool and then add your favorite icing recipe to the top.
  • Cut into slices and serve up this eggless chocolate cake to your family.
