What You Will Need

  • EnviroTex Jewelry Resin
  • Shamrock shaped bezel mine was from this package
  • Castin’ Craft Universal Transparent Dye in green
  • Green glitter
  • Masking tape
  • Non-stick mat
  • Hot glue and a glue gun
  • Necklace chain

Instructions

  • First, you will need to add something to the back of the bezels to prevent the resin from flowing out. I find that adding masking tape to the back works well.
  • I also didn't want the bezels to move at all. So use a bit of hot glue to adhere them to a non-stick mat. Then mix your resin. Be sure to mix according to the package directions and use appropriate protective equipment. Once mixed, add a few drops of the green colorant and stir. Then fill the mixture with glitter. The more glitter the better! Mix the glitter in well.
  • Then pour the mixture into the bezels. Use a stir stick or toothpick to push the mixture into all of the corners.
  • Be sure the pieces are level and leave them to cure about 24 hours. Come back every hour for the first three hours and make sure there isn’t any resin seeping under the tape. If you have some, just use a damp cloth to remove. Don’t pick up your pieces! Just use the rag around the outside while the shamrocks are still firmly on the mat.
  • After 24 hours, your pieces should be cured and ready to wear. Just add your necklace chain and you have a bit of green you can pair with any outfit.
