Taco in a Jar Gift Basket

What You Will Need
For the Jars:
- 8 oz Jelly Jars
- Taco Seasoning below
- Salsa try this 3 minute salsa recipe
- Card Stock
- Printer
- Marker
- Ribbon
- Scissors
- Taco Tuesday printable tag
- Clear gift bag
- Mexico Stickers optional
For the Homemade Taco Seasoning:
- 6 tsp chili powder
- 5 tsp paprika
- 4 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 2 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Download and print the Taco Tuesday gift tags onto card stock and trim to size with scissors. Decorate the jar with stickers if desired.
- Fill the first jar with the homemade taco seasoning ingredients. Place the lid on and shake to combine.
- Fill the second jar with salsa. (homemade or store-bought)
- Then, create jar labels by cutting additional card stock into circles. Label each jar with the name of the contents. Place one label between the lid and ring of each jar.
- Add both jars to a clear gift bag. Then, tie on the gift tag with a ribbon.
Notes
*The taco seasoning mix makes a total of seven teaspoons which is equivalent to a package of store-bought taco seasoning.
