Paper Mache Vintage Farmhouse Pumpkins
Vintage pumpkins add a little rustic style to your farmhouse home. With a few paper mache pumpkins and paint, you can have vintage, farmhouse style fall decorations in just minutes. This tutorial uses a paint that gives the pumpkins a vintage effect. The technique and product are super easy to use. A video tutorial is also included!
What You Will Need
- Paper mache pumpkins
- DecoArt Vintage Effect Wash I used Patina however you can choose any color
- Brown craft paint for the stems
- Paint brush
- Rag
Instructions
- Paint the Patina Vintage Effect Wash and roughly over the surface of the pumpkin. Then, wipe away the excess with a rag.
- Paint the stems of the pumpkins with the brown craft paint.
- Allow everything to dry before adding to a display. I added them to my fall mantel!
