Mug Cake Recipe with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

What You Will Need

  • 6 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter plus 1 Tablespoon
  • 1/3 cup chopped Reeseā€™s peanut butter cups plus 1 Tablespoon

Instructions

  • Add the flour, cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder to your favorite mug and stir with a fork.
  • Add the milk, peanut butter and chopped candy and stir to mix well. The batter will be very thick.
  • Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of additional chopped peanut butter cups on top.
  • Microwave on high for 1 minute. Continue to microwave in 15 second increments until completely done (mine took about 90 seconds - yours may vary depending on microwave wattage).
  • Remove from microwave and cool for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of peanut butter to a small microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 10 to 15 seconds or until melted.
  • Drizzle the melted peanut butter on top of the mug cake and ENJOY!!

Notes

Yields: 1 large (10 oz mug or ramekin)
