What You Will Need

  • Pallet Christmas Tree
  • Outdoor Paint in red and green
  • Outdoor Vinyl I use the permanent vinyl from Cricut
  • Transfer Tape
  • Free SVG file
  • String Lights

Instructions

  • Start by painting your pallet tree with red and green paint. You want complete coverage if you are going to be using this sign outdoors. I would paint the front and back. NOTE: I did not paint the back of my sign but to make it last longer outdoors, I would definitely do that.
  • Once your paint is dry, flip your sign over and add the string lights to the back. I used a staple gun to secure. Just make sure you do not get the staples in the cord itself. You want the staples to go over the cord.
  • Then you will want to cut your Christmas tree SVG from the outdoor vinyl using your Cricut machine. Have trouble doing that? You can see the basics of using vinyl here.
  • Weed away all of the excess vinyl from around your design as well as the centers of any letters. Then use transfer tape to add the vinyl to your Christmas sign.
  • Then your sign is ready to be added to your outdoor holiday decor!
