Making Straw Rockets with Kids
These kids rockets are easy to make and will teach your kids a science lesson as well!
What You Will Need
- Paper
- Printer
- Scissors
- Two straws one that can fit inside of the other
- Tape
- Colored pencils markers, or crayons
- Free printable rockets
Instructions
- Print the free printable file.
- Let your kids color their rockets with anything you have on hand.
- Cut all of the rockets out with scissors. Older kids can do this step themselves.
- Cut the larger straw to fit on the back of the rocket.
- Tape one end of these tubes closed.
- Tape the straw piece to the back of one of the paper rockets.
- Add the second rocket on top with additional tape.
- Add in your smaller straw and your rocket is ready to play!
