How to Make Jar Candles at Home for Fall

Make your own fall candles in a mason jar with this easy DIY tutorial.

What You Will Need

  • Jars I used the Ball Sharing Jars but any pint-sized mason jar would work.
  • Floating candles
  • Orange
  • 2 tablespoons cloves
  • 3-4 cinnamon sticks
  • 5 drops orange oil
  • 5 drops thyme oil
  • Water

Instructions

  • Start with the jars of your choice. I used the Ball Sharing Jars but any pint-sized mason jar would work.
  • Add the cloves and cinnamon sticks to your jar.
  • Slice one orange and then add to the jar.
  • Fill the jar with water to threads.
  • Drop in the orange and thyme essential oil.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Add in a floating candle and then light.
  • Just that easily you have fall candles to add some scent to your home!
