Cricut Joy Card Mat Cards
With Cricut Joy and the Card Mat you can make a card in minutes.

What You Will Need
- Cricut Card Mat
- Cricut Insert Card
- Cricut Joy Pens
- Spatula
Instructions
- Select card image in Design Space.
- Remove plastic liner from Card Mat.
- Insert card into Card Mat making sure to align top of card to the top edge and push card all the way into card mat.
- Load Card Mat into Cricut Joy.
- Cut out design. If using a Card Design with writing make sure you follow the prompts for inserting the pens and blade.
- Remove card from Card Mat by slowly peeling the card mat off the card.
- Use spatula to remove all excess cardstock from Card Mat.
- Replace plastic liner to Card Mat.
- Insert card insert into card.
- Enjoy your finished personalized card!
Notes
To ensure that your design doesn't cut too close to the top or edge pay close attention when inserting your card into the Card Mat. Make sure that it's all the way up as far as it can go and pushed in as far as it can go.
Following the prompts in Design Space is the best way to know when you should insert a pen or a blade.
When working with cardstock it's always best to flip the mat over and roll the mat away from the cardstock after the cutting has finished. This prevents the cardstock from curling.
