Valentine's Day Clothespin Bugs

Make some cute bugs from clothespins to close up some Valentine's Day treat bags!

Draw a heart in Cricut Design Space the size you want for your wings.
Optional: Add a score line down the center of your heart and attach the two objects together. You do not need the score line to fold the hearts but it does help little ones fold these in the right location.
Add your foil cardstock to a medium grip Cricut mat and cut as many hearts as you will need for your bugs. Remember you will need two of these hearts per clothespin.
Once cut, remove the hearts from the mat and fold each one in half slightly. You just want to fold it enough to give it some dimension when adding to your project.
If your tape is wider than your clothespin, trim the glitter tape to size using a pair of scissors. Alternately, you can use glitter vinyl for this portion and cut it to size with your Cricut as well.
Peel the backing away from the tape and apply to your clothespin. Press down well.
Add some adhesive to the center of your clothespin and add the hearts with the pointed end towards the clothespin. Hold then in place for a few seconds. I like to use an adhesive tape runner as it is not hot but sticks quickly. You can use any adhesive that you like.
Add adhesive to the end of the clothespin and put two google eyes into place. Again, hold them a few seconds until the adhesive holds them into place.
Then just add your Valentine's Day clothespin bugs to the top of a treat bag!
