The shimmer sheets are amazing. You cut out any shape with scissors or even a craft cutter. Then just use an iron to adhere to your surface. I free handed some poinsettia shapes with scissors and tried them out on my towel.
Once everything looked good, I started ironing to my towel. Starting with my first set of petals.
I added in a second smaller set of petals. I just laid them right on top. Then followed the instructions for ironing them on.
I then added some even smaller petal shapes in the center in gold.
I used another gold sheet to cut out small circular shapes and adhered those right on top. I then broke out the fabric glue and glitter.
I made some leaf shapes with the glue and added tons of green glitter.
And really just that simply I had one tea towel done. The shimmer sheets make projects like this quick and easy.
The second tea towel I made was even simpler (I know right how can it get simpler??). I cut a couple of triangles and rectangles. Adhered them with my iron. I had another tea towel with some modern trees.
Two tea towels within a few minutes time and perfect for gift giving.
