Teen Week -- Day 2 -- DIY Collage

Maybe it is just my teenager -- but those pictures and posters on every surface of every wall...getting on my nerves....so we compromised.  Remember these frames?  They became collages...
All I did was spray paint the frames and cut poster board to fit the inside.  The teenage diva did all the manual labor!  Teenage art...I must say she did a pretty good job...
So mom paints the bathroom while the diva does a blog worthy project...not a bad compromise, huh?

Gosh, I must have made tons of those when I was a teen, none as nicely framed as that, though!

What a great idea! I could have used these growing up-My closet doors were covered.

That reminds me of one I had in my room when I was younger!! I love teen collages. You are a good mom to help her!

I would love for you to join up to my Spring has Sprung party and share this Friday! There is a giveaway too. :)

Oh this reminds me so much of my teenage years. Things really haven't changed that much now did they! Tell your teenager she did a great job!

Oh man... I looooooved making collages as a teenager. Afraid I'm too old for it now, but maybe I could teach my preschooler to appreciate such FINE ART!

a wonderful, wonderful plan!!

She sure did do a great job! Thanks so much for your comment today...I was happy that my "manifesto" was well-received. ;)

this is great! when I was a teen and had all those pics, mementos, etc., my collage was mounted on an ever-changing bullitan board {with painted frame thanks to my dad!} still works and sure beats thousands of push-pin holes on the walls!!

Very cool! My teenagers would love these!
I'm visiting from Tip Junkie!
