What Laser Crafts Actually Sell?
The laser crafts I'm sharing today include both cut and engraved crafts. My goal with this list is to help you find crafts that are something your customers will come back for time and time again.
They're easy-to-make crafts that can be personalized and are visible, which can help bring in new customers.
1 – Name signs
Name signs are perfect for businesses, weddings, kids' rooms, nurseries, door hangers, etc.
People love personalized signs, and using a laser makes it easy to add layers and dimension you can't get with vinyl or paint alone.

These examples from Zeo Wood Signs are just a few examples of name signs that are popular and great sellers.
2 – Engraved Jewelry
Engraved jewelry is also a big seller. The ability to personalize charms
There are small lasers that can engrave jewelry quickly, making it a great option for taking to craft fairs. You can personalize items right on site that people can take home, saving them shipping time and cost.

This engraved necklace from Mirrored Mindset is actually engraved backwards, so when you look in the mirror, you can read it the correct way. I think this is such a fun and unique idea.
3 – Engraved Tumblers
Engraved tumblers in all shapes and sizes are popular and have been for quite some time.
The great thing about laser-engraved tumblers is that you can start with one size option and expand into other sizes over time.
From wine tumblers to 40oz tumblers, people are personalizing them as gifts, for marketing, or for personal use. Tumblers are also something that seems no one can have just one of, so having repeat customers is likely.

Yemliha Design‘s shop has great examples of event-based tumblers, monogram tumblers, and personalized tumblers.
4 – Leather Engraving
Did you know you can engrave leather with your laser?
From keychains to hat patches, leather engraved blanks are small in size, which makes them great for customizing on-site.
If your small business involves selling in person, having options that people can purchase as gifts or for themselves can help increase your sales.

These leather-engraved keychains by Love Customized Art are a great example of what you can do when engraving leather.
5 – Engraved Pencils
Have you seen all the fun engraved pencils? My friend Crystal from Life Love Creations sells engraved name pencils, but she also has options that are motivational phrases, for teachers, and that follow current trends.

These engraved pencils are perfect for back to school, as teacher gifts, stocking and basket stuffers, or as an add-on to an order.
You don't have to limit this to pencils. You can also engrave pens, and those would be perfect for someone starting a new job, getting a promotion, graduating, etc.
6 – Laser Ornaments
Ornaments made with lasers can be fully cut out or engraved.
I know a lot of people who gift an ornament to their loved ones every year. Customized ornaments can result in repeat customers year after year.
These are another laser craft that can be taken to in-person events and personalized on-site.

These wood ornaments by Laser Engraved 4U are just some examples of ornaments you can make and sell with your laser.
7 – Pet Items
If you've ever met someone who loves their pet, you know why personalized pet accessories are a big seller.
Using your laser to create engraved tags, personalized collars and leashes, or other items like pet bowls, travel gear, etc.

Think about the supplies you use for your pets, can the personalized with your laser? If they can, I highly recommend adding them to your product library like Letters and Links.
8 – Name tags
If you've ever been a victim of team bags that are all at the same you know how important name tags can be.
Crystal from Life Love Creations uses her laser to create these adorable acrylic name tags that can be added to tote bags, backpacks, keys, etc.

You can also use this same idea to create toppers for tumblers, which can be a great add-on for the engraved tumblers I mentioned above.
9 – Custom Coasters
There are a lot of laser-safe coasters to choose from. Wood, slate, leather, and cork are all coaster options that are great for adding monograms, photos, and more.

This photo-engraved slate coaster is one example of something a person can't just walk into the store and purchase.
Customized coasters make great gifts for many people in your life.
10 – Cake Toppers
From birthdays to anniversaries and weddings to baby showers, there is always a need for a cake topper.
You can make cake toppers out of a lot of materials, including acrylic and wood like these from knkarts.

Some cake toppers can be used year after year; consider options that don't include an age or date and encourage people to use them as a tradition.
My kids are big on tradition. If we had a cake topper that said something like Merry Christmas or Happy Easter, you can be sure they'd remind me year after year to bring it out.
