You will need:
- Old magazines
- Picture Frame — I had this unfinished frame in my stash
- Mod Podge
- Ribbon
- Paint
- Die Cuts for decoration (I used the stamps that PSA Essentials sent me to decorate mine)
I started by painting the edges of my frame white.
I decided to go with a white to gray to black ombre pattern. So I went through my magazines I cut strips from appropriately colored pages. Then I layed them out on my frame and arranged them until they looked good.

Your blog makes me so happy. I think I can do that and sometimes I do but sometimes I don’t but still…your blog makes me happy. Thanks so much!
What a clever idea, and the frame is now beautiful. Thanks, Angie.
We do a picture frame at camp every year and this would be perfect! I’m pinning it! Great job, Angie!
What a great idea for the frame….I had bought one just like it and it has been sitting there for the past 2 years!! I know exactly what picture to put in too! Thanks for the great idea!!! Definitely bookmarking and pinning it too! tfs
