You can make some fun statement rings from hot glue in just minutes. This easy DIY project is a part of Craft Lightning where we are sharing 15-minute hot glue crafts all week. You can catch up on the projects from day 1 if you missed them. Today we have these fun statement rings that are great for kids plus more ideas from our blog partners. We are also celebrating the launch of our book all week so you will want to scroll down to see information on it as well.
Supplies needed to make statement rings from hot glue:
Some links below may be affiliate links which means that you do not pay anymore, however, a small commission will go to this site.
- Hot glue gun
- Metallic and glitter glue sticks
- Letter beads
- Ring blanks
- Non-stick hot glue mat
Instructions:
Start by placing a large dollop of hot glue onto your non-stick hot glue mat. A silicone baking mat will work as well but be sure not to use it for food after using it for crafting. You can trace something round and put it under your mat for a guide if desired. I find that the guide helps me to keep the dollop somewhat round.
While the glue is still hot, place in letter beads to spell the word or initials of your choice. Press them in well.
Then allow the entire thing to cool completely. Once cool, you can easily lift it from the mat. Then use additional hot glue to place it on the ring blank.
Make as many or as few of these fun statement rings as you like.
Let your imagination run wild creating fun rings to express yourself! And yes you just made rings with hot glue!
