I think the ultimate trend for holiday parties has to be the ugly sweater party! Grab those 90s sweaters out of the closet and wear them proudly at one of these fun events. Whether you are hosting or attending, these ugly sweater party desserts will be the hit of the party. Plus they are super easy to make.

I started with this amazing recipe for holiday cheesecake presents. The only other thing you need is a sweater cookie cutter which I ordered off of Amazon. Follow the directions on that recipe exactly then cut them once completely cool with your cookie cutter.

Just use various decorating gels, sugars, and sprinkles to make the best ugly sweaters you can make.

Each recipe of these bars will make about 8 – 10 sweaters if that gives you a rough idea as to how many you will need to make for your party. You can eat the edges of this great dessert at home before the party starts.

Plan for some other “ugly sweater” party foods as well. Lay dips out on a platter in the shape of a sweater. Put olives or other ingredients on top for your sweater decorations. Make pizza with the ingredients in the shape of a sweater. Maybe there are other foods on your list you can use the sweater cookie cutter for? Sweater sandwiches anyone? Plan your food to go with your party theme for a party that no one will forget.

These are great! I just ordered 3 of these cutters to share with my daughters & daughters in-law. We usually get started on the parties the 1st Sat in Dec then we rotate every wk to each of my kids homes until Christmas Eve & day at mine. I have added the Ugly Sweater Party Dessert to my menu. Thank you! Happy Holidays to All!
