This one was posted over at Lovin Our Chaos but I wanted to share here in case y'all didn't see it. These metallic stamped clothespins don't even use traditional ink. Did you just say "WHAT?" Yep no ink required. Instead I used an awesome pigment set that was sent to me for being on TeamCTD and it makes these awesome! So are you ready to learn how to make your own?
The embellishing pigment kit I used to give that metallic look is pictured below. It really gives a metallic look to my little key stamp. Plus there is enough pigment in one little kit for tons and tons of projects. You will find a way to use this kit! For the clothespins, you will need a kit, stamp, and some clothespins.
The kit comes with what looks like a stamp pad. It is actually like a glue or adhesive.
I applied the adhesive to just one key on this stamp. You can just make it out in the picture below. I just carefully applied the stamp to the pad so that only the one key received the glue.
You then press the stamp firmly to the clothespin. The apply your choice of metallic pigment to that area using the included brush. The pigment is a fine powder.
A second brush is provided to wipe away any excess powder. This kit has enough powder to make thousands of clothespins or a bunch of other projects. Seriously it just takes a little touch of powder to give an awesome metallic look.
They are done and ready to use around your home! Hang up vintage postcards...that is what I would do you know...
Or maybe hang up some colorful pinwheels for summer...
These would also be great in your home office to hold papers. I hope you enjoyed these stamped clothespins and look for a pigment kit at a craft store near you.

Cute idea. :)
The clothes pins themselves aren't so impressive, but I completely loved them - used with hanging up crafts etc. It's a super idea. Thanks for sharing.
If you do an ever so slight mist of water on the Perfect Pearls after brushing away the excess, it will"set" the powder so it will not smear. I love this product..it can be used in so many ways.
